Our clients run the full range of
project management maturity, and they are in different
maturity levels in their experience with Microsoft's
Enterprise Project Management tools like Microsoft Project,
Excel, SharePoint Services, and Project Server, and they are
often implementing Microsoft Project Sever to reach quite
different organizational goals.
Maturity
Assessment
(If you
are interested is our maturity assessment please contact us)
Initially, we always help
a client determine their functional maturity so that they
can set obtainable implementation goals, and select the
Enterprise Project Management feature set that would be most
useful for their organization.

PSSI's
Project Server Implementation model
Our EPM
Implementation approach or model consists of the following
five phases:
-
Planning and Analysis
-
Software Installation & Testing
-
EPM
Configuration & Testing
-
Custom Enhancements
-
PM &
EPM Role Based Training
-
Go
Live
These
phases cross three client objectives or phases:
-
Phase
I - Pilot/Prove Solution
-
Phase
II - Implement Single Dept/Division
-
Phase
III - Implement Next Business Area
Typically
we begin working with a client at Phase I. However, we can
begin working with a client at any one of these phases and
it is not unusual for an organization to ask us to begin
working with them in Phase II or III after they have
completed Phase I on their own or with another Microsoft
partner.
